Travis Unified School District LEA Plan

The Travis Unified School District LEA (Local Educational Agency) Plan is the district’s equivalent of the SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement). It is the district’s plan for improving student academic performance, including how the district is spending categorical funds to help students.

The Travis Unified School District LEA Plan is available HERE. The District was required to update the LEA plan with an addendum, which was approved by the state in 2012. The addendum is available HERE.  LEA is a general term for districts and county offices of education.
This page also references the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 which allows flexibility in how districts use federal funds to improve student achievement and the California’s State Board of Education (SBE) which is the 11-member State Board of Education is California’s K-12 policy-making body for academic standards, curriculum, instructional materials, assessments and accountability.
